16 regional conferences are being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, dedicated to popularization of the PPP under the ruling of the new PPP act. Conferences will be organized in cooperation with the newspaper Gazeta Prawna and TVN - CNBC Business.

The concept of the conference is based on the idea of active participation of local and regional authorities in their organization - both in terms of logistics (selection of participants, choice of venues and dates) and substantive (selection of speakers from the site of the region, selection of PPP projects being developed in the region).

Fixed points of the agenda will include experts from: the Ministry of Economy (the idea of legislative changes and their discussion), the PPP Centre (the role of the Centre, main aims), experts, primarily from the Centre founders organisations (case studies, legal and financial problems in the background of the new legislation), experts from the city (region) - a local policy in relation to the PPP, local examples of PPP projects. Due to the fact that the Center has been registered on the last day of October, this year there will be only 2 conferences organized - 28th November in Warsaw (PKiN) and 10th December in Katowice (Śląski Sejmik Wojewódzki). In 2009 - there will be 14 conferences held: first ones in Gdansk, Krakow and Wroclaw.
